Beyond Bristol's History

In addition to my published '13 Fascinating Walks in Central Bristol', I have worked with BBC online to design an abolition walk in Bristol, click here

I am available to lead walks around the city centre.  They can be customised to suit interests/abilities.

Walks to date include:

Sites of early libraries in Bristol for the centenary of the Bristol Central Library in 2006

On 8 May 2007 I led a walk and talk for Bristol Ramblers round Castle Park, starting from Bristol Bridge.

On 12 June 2007 I led a walk and talk for the Ramblers round a series of churches and chapels in the city centre, starting from Wesleys' New Room, Broadmead.

In July 2007 I led an illustrated walk round King Street for the Merchants' Landing Residents Association

I led a walk with The Ramblers on 28 August, 2007 Up to the Downs, from corner of Apsley Rd/Whiteladies Rd

Coming up: Ramblers walk 17 June @6.30, from Bristol Bridge into deepest Bemmie, via Mary Redcliffe and Victoria Park.

Ramblers 22 July @ 6.30, from Bristol Bridge along the cut to Cumberland Basin.
