25.10.2004: The Birdhouse Later this year on our screens. She stars in The Bird House, a low budget flick set in Essex. “I play the mother of a fairly eccentric family, whose husband lavishes all his attention on this little bird in a cage rather than on the family.” She says. “The story goes that we have to leave our children in the house to be looked after by their 17 year old sister, and of course the bird vanishes.” “So, it’s all about the shenanigans of the daughter going out to replace the bird, and so on. It has a poignancy to it, it says a lot about family relationships, from within the dynamic of quite a dark piece.”

01.02.2004: Simone in 'Fallen' new drama
Correct name for the Provisionally entilted 2 part series Guardian.

She's a fallen woman.

Bad Girl Simone Lahbib is swapping her lesbian prison romps - to play a hard-bitten policewoman. Simone, became a gay icon after her raunchy sex scenes in the ITV1 series set in a woman's prison. But now she is to appear in a new erotic detective series called Fallen in which she plays the love interest of a policeman who loses his memory. And an insider for the show described Fallen, which will be shown on ITV in the spring as "highly charged".

She added: "Viewers are used to seeing Simone strip off in previous roles and this new show will not disappoint her fans." "Simone is a hard-nosed detective who stands by her right-hand man - played by Jonathon Cake - when he awakes in hospital after an accident." "There's obviously a lot of sexual tension between them as the story unfolds with a few brutal murders along the way. It's a corker."

Written by The Vice scribe Steve Griffith's, Fallen is described as shocking, action packed and romantic. Simone was born in Stirling from a Scots mother and Algerian father.
