My name is Fiona and I live with my Family on 10 acres in Moorooduc, on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. My mum Jean says from day 1 I have been totally horse crazy (my mum calls people like me horse nuts!) and she doesn’t know where I get it from as she isn't horsy, but she has always been there whenever i needed help with the horses! I have been riding since I can remember, and I started out at a trail riding school where I eventually worked, taking out trail rides and teaching young kids and beginners to ride. During this time I helped to break in many young horses and rode the stallions on the property, 1 was a gorgeous black pure Clydesdale who stood at 17.2hh aprox! I also had a couple of nice hacks over these couple of years but thought I'd like to do more than trail riding!

I then moved on to competing, re-educating ex-racehorses, and breeding Warmbloods! I started working at Tony Noonan’s Racing stables cleaning out boxes, which soon progressed to strapping horses at the races and then moved to riding the horses at the beach! I worked at Tony's for 4.5 years and during these years I also worked part time for Monica Cid and Neil Walsh who are also race trainers, I mainly rode for them at the track and on the beach!

At the present moment I am working Everyday at Treehaven Equestrian Centre, which is a showjumping club and horse training facility! My work involves caring for all horses, some riding, lunging, saddling, strapping at competitions and marshalling at shows they have on their property! I love working their and I have got some favourite horses I couldn't part with! Alot of my re-educating is now done at Treehaven Euestrian Centre with Phil Lever helping me to ride the horses and I receive at least 2 lessons a week on my horses from Laurie Lever!
