PRESERVATION CLUB

The Club was formed in November 1979 and was set up to promote Preservation and to support those in the area who were interested in preserving or collecting. Our membership is not restricted to people living in Bournemouth or Poole and we have members who live in all surrounding areas such as Wimborne, Christchurch and Lymington and even Wales.

Are you the owner of a Classic or Vintage Vehicle, a Stationary Engine, a Military vehicle or even a Steam Engine; or do you have an interesting collection of bottles, thimbles, beer mats, toy cars or postcards?  If so we could be the Club for you. We also welcome those who are not fortunate enough to own any of the above, but who are interested in preserving our past, for future generations.

We meet on the second Thursday of every month at Hamworthy Sports & Social Club, Magna Road, Canford Magna, Wimborne, BH21 3AP from 7.30p.m in the venues smaller function room.  We may have a quiz, an auction night, play skittles, have a slide show, or just sit and talk to friends, we also have a raffle at the end of each meeting.

Family Membership to our club is only £10.00 per year which includes the clubs newsletters. Subs Night is every January and as a member you will receive newsletters each month, containing various articles and news of local events.
