Dario's Bantam Barn

Welcome to Dario's bantam barn!

Dario's Bantam Barn is a small hobby farm located in Eastern Washington, owned and operated by me, Dario Scotto (of course with my parents permission). I began breeding chickens as a hobby in 2005 at the age of 15. Here at the farm I focus on continuously improving the breeds I raise as best as I can by hatching large numbers of chicks (as many as I can handle to house and feed) and usually end up culling the majority of the ones I hatch and end up with only the best.

You will also notice on my webpage that I have links within certain pages showing the progress I make over the years on some breeds. That is because I would like to share the path I chose, errors I made, and progress with my PROJECT breeds (Ohiki, Onagadori, Malaysian Serama, Silkied Japanese). This is to help others interested in these projects and to sort of guide them.
