At Cutting K Quarter Horses we aim to bred kind easy to train versatile horses with plenty of cow and eye caching appearances.
Our brood mares have been chosen for their kind willing natures, sound conformation, good hard feet,neat smart looking heads and a smooth easy to ride gate.
Our brood mares must be good doers and hardy to stand up to a days work.
Show plenty of cow sense and speed, yet stay calm and cool.
We look for strong sound mares with bone which will still be competing / working well into their 20's
We look for powerful horses with good straight strong legs and good sized hip.
These mares must also have minimal line breeding and carry the good old working bloodlines up close along with some of the the newer imports such as Gold Money Bars (imp), Doc's Yakoon (imp), Kings Phillip (imp), Docs Boab (imp), Smart Little Scotty (imp), Cash On Loan (imp), War creek (imp), Blackburn Junior (imp), Cutter's Could (imp), Buc Lena (imp), Strutin His Stuff (imp), Eternal Slave, Mr Jessie James (imp), Dell Mingo (imp), Hollywood Return (imp), Penny Plummer (imp), Miss Ballistics (imp), Doc's Freckles Oak (imp), Mr Freckles Boy (imp), Pine Olena (imp), Docs Spinnifex (imp), Mr Moore 8 (imp), Peppy From Heaven (imp), just to name a few.
We believe mare power is the key to a successful foal crop.
Our two resident sires Deniliquin Gold Chex ( senior sire ) and Drifters Roy Rolly ( junior sire ) have all these attributes and pass them on to their progeny constantly.
They live year round with their mares and foals in a three barb 5000 acres paddocks which their progeny run in the adjoining paddock, this has never been a problem as there is no room hear for mad bulls / savage stallions.
As temperament is of utmost importance to us.
You will not find white picket fences hear nor will you find  big flash $100'000 stables and workout complex
What you will find is kind reliable horses with all the attributes of the Australian Quarter Horse.
We are proud to offer to those who are interested the Quarter Horse that the old timers spent years developing in America ( the perfect all round horse )

NEWS FLASH BILLY'S RESULTS AT HIS 2th GYMKHANA

CONGRATULATION'S TO DIANNA AND OWEN VANDERPAL

Billy got 4 first's 1 second and 4 third's and got the second place trophy for over all horse of the day, he also won the barrels

BILLY'S FIRST CAMPDRAFT RESULTS

Billy and Owen placed second in the maiden with a cut out score of 23 and placed third in the second round.

He also done very well at the Gymkhana the next day taking home the third place trophy.

He is now competing in the oldes days and coming home with a arm full of ribbons with Owens mum.

JUST A HORSE

From the time to time, people tell me, "lighten up, it's just a horse," or, "that's a lot of money for

"

"just a horse".

Some of my proudest moments have come about with

 "just a horse"

Many hours have passed and my only company was

"just a horse"

I did not once feel slighted. Some of my saddest moments have been brought by 

"just a horse"

And in those days of darkness, the gentley touch of

"just a horse"

gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day  

If you, too,think it's just a horse"

They don't understand the distance travelled, the time spent or costs involved for

"just a horse,"

then you will probably understand phrases like "just a friend," "just a sunrise," or " "just a promise."

"Just a horse" brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust and pure unbridled joy.

"just a horse" brings out the compassion and patience that makes me a better person.

Because of "just a horse" I will rise early, take long walks and look longingly to the future.

So for me and folks like me, it's not "just a horse" but an embodiment of all hopes and dreams of the future,

the found memories of the past and the pure joy of the moment.

"Just a horse" brings out what's good in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and worries of the day.

I hope that someday they can understand that it's not

"just a horse"

but the thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being "just a man / woman.

so the next time you hear the phrase "just a horse" just smile they

"just" don't understand.
