The Bandon Banshees was an idea started in Hogsmeade, in the three broomsticks, on a cold winter night. Tired of hearing only Celestia Warbeck on the Wizarding Wireless Network, the Banshees sought out to change the way people thought about wizard rock forever. But it was too late...
They weren't the only patrons at the three broomsticks that night. Myron Wagtail, an out of work musician, who was extremely hairy and dressed
in black robes that had been artfully ripped and torn overheard the idea and sought it for his own. Months later, the Weird Sisters were formed, being played throughout the WWN and even making an appearance at the Hogwarts Yule Ball.
Furthermore, Gilderoy Lockheart, in his attempt to vanquish the Bandon Banshee was led to Hogsmeade, after hearing about the "incredible beast that melted faces" He managed to drive the Bandon Banshees out of Hogsmeade and forced them into hiding for many years...until now. Since the "chamber of secrets" incident at Hogwarts, the Banshees have been on a quest to deliver sock-rockin wizard rock. As an reminder of what it took to get where they are, the Banshees still perform a Gilderoy Lochheart original, Magical Me.
But, was it too late? Did the Wizard Rock revolution pass the Bandon Banshees by? Harry Potter had a band, even the Giant Squid, Draco Malfoy and the Whomping Willow had a Wizard Rock band. Perhaps not; The Banshees swore they would deliver the same promise they made years ago in Hogsmeade; deliver Wizard Rock that rocked socks right off of wizards and muggles alike. Will they succeed? Only time will tell.
