Located west of Red Oak at Peakwood.
Bammel community was founded by Charley Bammel in 1915, who moved from Houston and established a store and operated the post office, near Kuykendahl and Erhart roads.
This cemetery is very nicely kept up. Fence around cemetery. Oldest grave is 1911.
