We are Jeremy and Becky Powell. We are pleasure hunters that love hearing our hounds run and tree. We do it because it's fun! We have been married for 6 years. Jeremy works on an assembly line, building Japanese auto parts for Topre America in Good Hope, Alabama. Becky is a full-time mother and full-time college student. She attends Wallace State in Hanceville, Alabama. Becky will be graduating in December 2008 with an Associate's Degree in Pharmacy Technology, and then will graduate in May 2009 for Medical Transcription. We have a 22 month old daughter named Amber McKenzie. Amber was born 12 weeks premature at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama where she stayed for 60 days. She is our little miracle! We also have 6 hounds that we love like they are our kids. From youngest to oldest - Their names are Katie, Trudy, Baby Girl, Paige, Boss, and Dixie. My husband has been a coonhunter all his life, and I enjoy going with him.
We hunt and breed Bluetick Coonhounds and English Coonhounds.
Becky also has 2 Shih Tzus named Rocky and Gizmo, a Jack Russell Terrier named Nubbin, and 2 miniature Dachshund/Rat Terrier mixes named Molly and Sadie.
We are located in the heart of the Bankhead National Forest in Northwest Alabama.
