The Goliath Tarantula is the largest spider in the world, and grows up to 9-13 inches. That's more than a foot! Their fangs can grow to one inch in length. In colour, their bodies are light and dark brown.

Habitat

The Goliath Tarantula can be found in Venezula, northen Brazil, Guyana, Suriname and French Guyana. They prefer to live in places where the temperature is approximately 80F.

Prey

The Goliath Tarantula lives on a diet of large insects, small vertebrates, crickets, frogs, lizards, toads, mice and snakes.

Predators

|
The predators of the Goliath Tarantula are the mammals that destroy the holes where they live , and the wasp because it lays eggs on it then the wasp larvae eat the poor, helpless, defenceless spider.
