Basic Player vs Player Strategy

Player vs Player strategy in Ballerium is complicated. True skill with Player vs Player takes time to master.

First of all you must micro-manage your units. Single out enemy healing units, run your hurt units to the back of your lines. I always keep my Damage Threshold warning ay 60% so that I can have a faster reaction to saving my units (since the AI always respondes slow.) You always want to pay attention to the Suns. Not just what sun it is at that moment, but what Sun it will be next, or the next two Suns. Know your area. Know what cities have specific units (you never know what units you might need). You should always have 1 free unit space or 1 unit waiting next to a Parnasium in a city so that you can reinforce your army quickly. If you choose to have 1 free unit space summon a shadow at the Parnasium to buy more units. Have an escape route ( a sanctuary near by or an allied city).

NEVER EVER let your heroes die, its too costly to your karma and your flux.

Advanced PvP strategy (unit combinations)

There are seven different races in Ballerium, six of which you can buy in cities (Kablaz are special and cannot be bought.) Each race has four different types of units, and all four types of units can be used in combination with the other races. Below is a list of these combinations, their uses, their advantages and their disadvantages.

 

Infinity Techniques

Ballerium Unit Combination(s):

Name: Boxer's Sucker Punch

Best sun: Green

Worst sun: Red

--Numbers where made with a 34 unit max...This means this method would
be better suited at the beginning of the round, or just for fun.
EI: You and a friend can have a fun mock battle with no heroes, and set
a unit limit at 34 (if you have more than that.)

7 Weapon Masters

7 Intimidators

9 Healing units (probably gorgoun with a few others mixed in)

10 Callers

Advanced PvP Strategy: MECHS


Mechanical Unit Combinations (for all of these the maximum and minumum number of units are just a suggestion, you don't HAVE to have as many units as I say, or as few. They are simply suggested numbers that I have used before.)

Standard Mech Death Squad

Usually done later in the round, and with a lot of unit space, but it can be done early in the round as well if you mine quickly.

MECH TYPE: GROUND FORCE

Mech Units:

4-10 War Engines
 6-12 Catapults

Siege Squad

Use this army to burn cities to the ground. Have another avatar fight with infantry  units in front of your mechs


MECH TYPE: RANGED


War Engines (optional)


8-12 Catapults
5-8 Cannons



Lemnear's Armada

I don't know what unit max Lemnear had at this time (probably very high) and the following numbers are guesses, but still what he did was cool.

MECH TYPE: AIR/GROUND FORCE

Mech Units:
7 - 10 War Engines

6-10 Cruisers

Infantry Support:
Heroes with the Fix or Solidify skill, or Konkrateeka solidifiers

Veteran PvP: City Fighting
