The Bali Adoption Rehabilitation Centre,

aims to relieve suffering, starvation,

abuse and neglect of the street dogs in Bali.

We endeavour to provide medical care, food,

rehabiliation, bedding and love to all dogs and

puppies. In doing so we wish to educate people

on how to care and respect animals, and aim to

provide dog adoption services for suitable homes.

OUR NEW BUS IS IN ACTION! WE NOW HAVE A DRIVER

AND WE ARE ABLE TO HELP DOGS ON THE STREET

WITH MUCH MORE EASE. OUR AIM NOW IS TO RAISE

ENOUGH MONEY TO HAVE SEVERAL VETS OUT ON THE

STREETS EVERYDAY!

We need help. If you have any veterinary training, or would like to be involved in helping animals, please contact our shelter. We need helping hands to make the lives of our dogs happy and worthwhile. Our volunteer coordinator would love to hear from you.

KANGAROO

KANGRAOO HAS HAD HER OPERATION

THANKS TO OUR NEW FRIENDS IN AMSTERDAM WHO HAVE BEEN

FUNDRAISING FOR US, KANGAROO HAS HAD HER BIG OPERATION

AND HAS RECOVERED VERY WELL! SHE WILL RETURN TO THE

SPECIALIST NEXT MONTH TO CHECK FOR ANY CANCER RESIDUE,

IN THE MEANTIME SHE IS FULL OF ENERGY AND VERY TALKATIVE!

MEET CHARLIE!

He might not look like much but this is

one tough puppy!Charlie came off the street a few weeks

ago, almost completely bald from mange, and

having difficultly walking on this skinny deformed

legs (caused by malnutrition). He had breathing difficulties

and was just in a terrible state. He was so sick we thought

he would never make it, and as Charlies condition

deteriorated even further, his weak immune system was

not strong enough to fight off the Distemper that followed.

But he was such a sweet and appreciative puppy, there

was no way we were going to give up, and neither was he!

With thanks to David Blyde (a great Aussie vet),

our B.A.R.C vet, Linda's traditional chinese medicine, weeks

of round the clock care and a whole lot of love...he made it!

His hair is now growing back and we are working on proper

nutrition to fix his legs :)

An amazing effort by all involved...a real miracle!
