There is only 1 jack grand dame in our kennels and that is sweet wee Pip, Pippa from Cumbria where the sausages are so yummy and the Beef and Ale Pies will make you weep!
And the folks are so straight up and easy to talk to, why its not like Ireland at all!
Where are your pretentions and cute hoors? I don't think they have them in Cumbria...
Don't get me wrong I'm a Gaelgoir to the core if you haven't copped yet from the Glens. But if you are going to learn about Jacks you have to go the English, it is their breed after all. And what a kennel to learn from but the Cumbreck Jack Russells!
If it wasn't for Angela's kindness I wouldn't be writing this site, because....
a) I wouldn't have Tiny Pippa the foundation of our kennel of Jacks
b) I wouldn't have heard of freewebs and known where to set up a site
c) I wouldn't have had a good prod up the ******** to get back on the net
So if you haven't checked it out yet you must! www.cumbreckjackrussells.com
So what is Pippa like?
She is the dearest, fattest, lickiest, jumpy-upest little jack ever. A pert wee girl she is only 9" and a glorious glossy tricolour short coat.
She has passed her lovely colours down to her son Tinker, and her jolly happy wee nature. These days she is recently a nana and at time of writing 08/06/07 her grand babies haave just opened their eyes and look rightly shocked to see the world!
Sukey is an extremely sweet natured and pretty tan and white short coat bred by Phil Thame of Bailebroc Kennels, Roscommon.
From two working parents on both sides, Sukey is a reasonable sporting jack. She is 2nd generation interim.
Her main attributes are her very affable and loving nature and great good looks. She is the mother of Nugger and Honey Pup.
The Nugger is a daughter of Sukey and Tinker Boy, a teeny weeny handreared mite who now who is indespensibly part of the household... the nugger is a hearty self involved confident but intelligent mite of 8 " a house reared, bed sleeping, lap dog, arm carried yet also taken rat hunting and bog rambling, tho she needs a day lying down after....
