We made it too the grand canyon and now we are trekking back the same route heading south to phoenix. We have had an amazing time, met and been blessed by so many great people along the way, and are loving every exhausting moment of it. We are in Williams now and have two long days ahead of us till we reach our final destination. We thank you all for joining in on this journey and are encouraged to hear so many people have been getting involved. You guys rock.
85 Miles LaterWell it was a long day yesterday but a very good day. We made it even further than we had anticipated going around 85 miles in distance and climbing about 4200 feet in elevation. Just outside of Prescott we were greeted by some wonderful friends who made us some good mexican food and a bit of cake for dessert. It was glorious. After a little bit of relaxing and guitar playing around the campfire we soon hit the hay.

Our day took us through a number of different thoughts and emotions. Everything from enjoying the nice cruises on the downhills to becoming blind from the sweat in our eyes on the intense up hills. I am pretty sure that at some point throughout the day the question of "Why are we doing this again?" ran through each of our heads. However, the answer is simple, we are doing for those oppressed people who have no voice. And us being able to keep that thought in the back of our minds makes even the most intense hills on our journey a bit easier.

Well, it is a new day and we just just set out from Prescott with a goal to make it to Williams by tonight, about 75 miles. We are all a little soar but doing very well well over all. We will do our best to keep everyone posted on our progress.
