In the Back Seat Voyeur

Welcome to Back Seat Voyeur (BSV (coincidentally the same acronym as for Best Site Visited!)), the official fan based web site for Garstang band, In the Back Seat. Its members include: Adam Chapman (lead vocalists and guitarist), Ben Oliver (bassist) and Jane Taylor (drummer).

Kirsten Hughes, creator of Back Seat Voyeur, also plays the triangle, although she has not made her debut yet... :-P

In the Back Seat formed in late 2005, with all three students being friends at Garstang High School. After many Thursday-afternoon band practices, In the Back Seat’s first live gig was at Garstang High School itself, in front of all the Years 7 and 8 on Monday 20th December 2005. Later that day In the Back Seat performed twice, once for Years 9 and 10, and a final time for Year 11. This was done in a bid to win the 'X-mas Factor' title, but unfortunately they lost - due to an unfair scoring by the idiotic pupils - to two rappers, who frankly ruined Linkin’ Park’s song “In the End”. Many of 11.4, of which Adam and Jane are a part of, celebrated the gig by taping a huge banner dedicated to the band on the interactive whiteboard, and scrawling appreciatively on the broken whiteboard in the form room.

The Back Seat Voyeurs web site was created on the 20th January 2006 (coincidentally one month after the X-mas Factor) by Miss Kiki, close associate of the band. The word ‘voyeur’ was deemed appropriate due to the nature of the band name.

This web site will be updated regularly whenever Miss Kiki can escape the clutches of that monster named Coursework and the clutches of the wonderful power Books.
