Hawkes Bay Utd to beat Auckland City (NZFC Rnd 8)
Ipswich to beat Portsmouth (FA Cup 3rd Rnd) Ouch.. our punts were crap and we got hammered!
This is some
penalty miss in the latest cartoon...!!!
UNFORTUNATELY THIS WEBSITE HAS COME TO A CROSSROADS.
TO PROMOTE IT FURTHER TO INCREASE THE SMALL NUMBER OF
CURRENT VISITORS WOULD REQUIRE A GREATER INPUT OF TIME
AND RESOURCES, WHILST STILL BEING DEBATABLE IF
WE COULD COMMAND A LARGE NUMBER OF REGULAR VISITORS.
MORE IN DEPTH CONTENT WOULD ALSO BE REQUIRED TO
ACHIEVE GREATER EXPOSURE WHICH IN ITSELF IS A
CHALLENGE GIVEN THE LOW PROFILE NATURE OF FOOTBALL IN
NZ (OUTSIDE OF ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE ALL WHITES AND
THE PHOENIX). SO
UNFORTUNATELY THIS SITE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED.
I THINK THE IDEA OF AN INDEPENDANT NZ FOOTBALL WEBSITE
THAT CAN BE OBJECTIVE STILL HAS MERITS AND HOPEFULLY
SOMEBODY MORE RESOURCEFUL THAN MYSELF CAN TAKE UP THE
CHALLENGE IN THE FUTURE. - THE EDITOR
Ouch... 8-0... but at
least somebody is happy outside the top 3

Manawatu coach Shane Rufer says "we were crap and
got hammered".. (no kidding! At least he didn't
say 'full credit to the opposition'). Captain Ian
Robinson said "it was disheartening.." and
Goalkeeper Michael Utting stormed off after the game
and threw his gloves out of the cot. Thank goodness we
are not at Manawatu's next training night! Meanwhile
Waikato Coach Roger Wilkinson thinks "Waitakere
are the strongest team in the league" (as opposed
to the best?), Canterbury Coach Danny Halligan says
"We are not
used to being at the bottom of the table.." (they
should get used to it for at least a week) and Hawkes
Bay Coach Jonathon Gould says "We're not a good
team yet.."(mmm
does that mean you're an average team?). But we have
heard rumours that Otago Coach
Terry Phelan was seen dancing a jig after his team's
first win following a 23 game losing streak.. Oh happy
days are here again!
