We were surprised by the absence of any written resources provided to us at the time of the unexpected loss of our son. We are speaking from our experience, as we learned how to deal with his loss, we felt the call to provide these resources to other parents. It is our sincere hope that this resource will provide you help and encouragement at this time of emotional distress and grief.
Caring, compassionate Catholic priests or deacons (and/or your own pastor) educated in death, loss and bereavement are available to you at this time of crisis. These ministers can be called upon to provide guidance, support, and assistance at the physician's office, hospital or when you return home.
