Food is OK! 

 all food is OK to eat just in moderation! 

I find that a lot of carbs can be REALLY bad as they make you feel bloated. For me I try to limit bread, pasta and rice and other carbs. Also cereals are often really bad for you as packed with sugar and for me I end up eating too much of them. 

protein and fruit and vegestables are the best foods for weight loss.

 Sources of protein:

why protein? Protein is a healthier option rather than fats or carbs. It has the ability to fill you up and sustain your hunger giving you that sense of ''fullness'' which prevents the need to binge. it sustains hunger for longer and also has special oils which nourish skin tissue, hair and nails.

  • Fish- its full of your Omega 3's which are great for you! Salmon fillets are a good idea and are easy to cook. Tuna doesn't contain ithe essential oils but is an easy thing to eat to up your protein!
  • Eggs- the egg yolk is holds the most fats but are essential fatty acids which we need and are not stored in the body. You can eat the egg without the yolk as the white bit in the egg is the protein source and where all the nourishment comes from!
  • Chicken- is the BEST source of protein. grilled not fried.
  • Soy beans and Legumes ie. lentils and beans yumm!!
  • yogurt- lines stomach and good for bones
  • Quorn and meat-free meats- contain a good amount of protein for those who dont want to eat meat. Levels aren't as high as in meats such as protein.


Sources of fruit and veg

Fruit and veg conatin carbs- but these carbs are your best freinds!!!  The fibre in these foods assist in our digestion so it is easily absorbed meaning it gets out of our bodies quick!! fibre fills you up and sustains hunger which means that we get less hungry during the day!! Vegetables such as Broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, courgettes, lettuce, spinach, peppers, celery....and many more are all great foods.

Fruit- all fruits especially apples and pears. 

breakfast is the most important meal of the day is what they say! it boosts your metabolism so you may want to have a peice of D

whenever u feel that "urge"

  • water is number one thing that fills you up and helps you get through the days
  • green tea or a hot drink 
  • Walnuts..are the best kind of nut and just a small handful satisfys you due to the fibre contained in them.
