Morgan is Due on May 5th but will be here a week or two early. We have her nursery done and have posted the pictures for you to see. I purchased a crib set that was not a traditional commercialized theme. This is a basic Baby Tykes set. I took the 4 main animals from the quilt and bedding set and cut stencils out and painted them on the wall. The top half of the room is pink and the bottom is a lime green with a nice warm yellow border. I really hope Morgan loves this when she gets older. I sure had fun thinking it up and painting with her Grandma Rosie. I also made the bassinet bedding. This bassinet is a family heirloom from Curt's Family. It was purchased by his great grandmother for his great uncle and used for his Mothers Brother (Uncle Ray) too. Since this bassinet is 62 years old it would be impossible to buy already made bedding. My mom (Grandma Rosie) made the curtains They are purple and white check with a blue and white polka-dot valance. The chair will be covered in the polka-dot and the crib will get a purple and white check bed skirt. Not much work to go on this room.
