Episode 1 : BEGINNING (PARADISE)
Life
on Tatsumiya Island seemed normal, until the extrasterrestials called
Festum invade their island. The children have been kept in the dark
about the true nature of their existence until now and they are
suddenly thrust to the forefront of an all out war to save humanity
form complete annihilation.
Episode 2 : LIFE (CONFESSION)
Kazuki
pilots Fafner, engages the enemy, and against all odds, he prevails.
However while he may have won the battle, the war is far from over and
the civilian population must pick up the pices of their lives as best
they can. Children return home and parents begin the difficult task
explaining the reality of the situation to their children.
Episode 3 : TRUTH (LABYRINTH)
In
order to defend the island against the extrasterrestrials onslaught,
children are drafted into service based upon their synergetic code
values. Most children greet their induction with a sense of pride while
their parents watch from the sidelines, helpless and fearing the worst
for their children. Wandering about the military home base, Kazuki sees
a ghostly apparition and follows it to the heart of the island just as
the island comes under attack once again.
Episode 4 : DEPARTURE (ESCAPE)
As
Kazuki flies out to meet the new threat, his classmates listen in on
the battle and grow frustrated at their inability to help. Much more is
at stake with this battle than meets the eye as a Neo UN plane
approaches the island. Can Kazuki destroy the Festum and return to the
island before they are discovered?
