There is a special interest in pinto and dilute colours at AZIZ. However, colour is not the dominate consideration.

Breeding stock are DNA typed, and resultant foals are DNA parentage verified when possible. This is seen as a MUST                       to raise the credibility of Miniature Horses.   

The horses of AZIZ are run as small herds in large paddocks with shelter belts for shade and protection from extremes           of weather, natural water supplies and natural pasture (the property rears prime grass fed vealers). At AZIZ the belief                           is to allow foals to grow to their full potential and foals are NEVER restricted from feed to slow the growing process.                 All the horses have daily supervision. 

All AZIZ horses are paddock reared for strength of limb and wind. Mares are foaled down under close supervision                            without interference unless necessary. Foals are handled while on their dams to reduce stress at weaning time. Foals                       are regularly wormed, have feet trimmed as required, are vaccinated, and supplement fed as required.

Horses are registered with MINIATURE HORSE FEDERATION Inc. and IMHR Inc.

Personal inspection of horses is invited, as well as veterinary inspection. Placing horses in the right homes is of great        importance.
