So basically I was bored while waiting for Anya while she was interviewing with Dartmouth...At first it was just a sketch... then I showed it to my friend and she added some color to it! Ok!! Well I decided it was time I started trying to learn how to use open canvas and I decided to do something related to Valentine's Day!! I was browsing through deviantart and saw SO MANY valentines day art and I felt like joining the fun too! So here is my latest piece of randomness!

Well, I'd just like to say....I have NEVER learned so much ever in my life....I learned more sitting there with my friends reading some pdf file than my entire high school career put together...this RWDC thing is actually quite fun! But as Anya pointed out, it's probably because we're not getting tested on this stuff haha! So true! I mean, I wouldn't even mind if we didn't win...but it'd be nice if we did! But yeah, that was pretty amazing....ANYWAYS.....so I came home and I wanted to paint again!!! and THIS TIME, my painting came out SO MUCH BETTER....omg....don't even look at the other one that one is CRAP total CRAP....well this one is pretty crappy too, but THE OTHER ONE WAS THE EPITOME OF CRAP....ok, so here's my latest version! But I still haven't gotten to finishing the lips yet....I had to change the size and shape of the nose like 50 gazillion times and resize the eye like 10 times and then redraw his eybrows like 50 times and I had to try so hard to get the shadows to look somewhat right.....man....I'm wiped out! But here it is!

Haha!! First things first!!! NO SCHOOL TODAY!!! WHICH MEANS NO PHYSICS EXAM TODAY!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Man, I'm the happiest person alive today!! Since I was so happy, I decided to finish up or semi-finish up a painting I started like last week....I i think this one is better than my last one....but there's still something wrong with his face...well he looks like a frigging barbie doll......but whatever, I'd rather he look like a barbie than have blotchy weird skin...and I still can't paint hair.....I really dun understand how to do it....mine always looks so....I dunno....thick and ....uh......not natural....but whatever, when my friend learns how to paint hair, I'll have her teach me! In the meantime, here is my lastest uh...work? yeah, I was looking at a picture for the hair and I won't put the pic up b/c it looks completely different haha)

Hm....I dunno why, but I just felt like updating today....well....actually, I was looking thru my pictures and I found this screencap of my minesweeper game! So yeah, 151 is my current personal record.....it's 30 seconds better than my fastest time from junior year!! HAHA! I feel so accomplished!! I should really be doing hw...but I really feel like doing something unproductive...like draw or something...or maybe fix my little photoshop painting....hm....we'll see if I ever get to that...

So here I am 3am in the morning trying to finish this novel I shoulda read over the break....oh well....So I'm like halfway done and I got bored and decided to upload what i have so far for this face i was painting...it's not the final version because i don't like it.....but I prolly won't be working on it until like after finals....

so yeah, first time painting a face...whoo!!!! her nose is very strange and her right eye is weird looking.....and uh her lips....i dunno....just strange....her hair....i dunno what to say about it lol....it's just messy....i should really fix it up haha....well, here it is!

Yeah, well basically the entire break hasnt been much of a break.....but i FINALLY tried out something new with my tablet!!! I tried to paint HAIR!!! WHOOO!!! Well, this is my first try...so it's not good at all.....the hair doesn't even flow the right way...and let's not even talk about the lighting and all that crap....but well, I read a gazillion tutorials and then tried it out....i figured hair would be easiest to do since skin is SO MUCH MORE complicated.....but I'm gonna keep practicing with the hair first....who knows, maybe i'll get it half right before school starts!

yeah...so thanksgiving break, 4-day weekend, whoot!! basically, i did nothing and got bored and decided to draw....i was browing through deviantart and i saw something that caught my eye....and i decided to do something similar...except it didn't really turn out similar...lol....i tried so so many times...oh well...so here's the finished product....and hope you guys had a great break!!!


EDIT: got bored again...and i decided to color in and do some stuffs with my old drawings....and here it is!!! (i seriously gotta learn how to use colors other than the redish tones...) anyways i used this texture i found on papercuts and i used lyrics from this japanese band and just tried to blend them together...

Ok so this weekend i was supposed to be doing my homework and stuff, but i got REALLY BORED from all that and wanted to do something interesting. I didn't wanna draw anything because i didn't feel like it, but then all of a sudden, i felt like adding color to my pictures! So i fooled around with photoshop and colored some of my stuff!! Here they are!!!

well there ya have it! i tried to color my dress...but it didn't work out b/c i couldn't get the beads to look nice.....maybe when i get a tablet, i'll color it.....

Well, well, well...I finally drew something new! Yes, i was reading this manga with VERY beautiful art and I was inspired to draw something similar. I actually drew something else too, but I'm too lazy scan it right now so haha, enjoy this one piece for now!

Well, let's see, first things first, yunyun's birthday was yesterday so HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY!!! I'm still new at this stuff so some stuff may not look right...but yeah, my inspirations come from those Californian houses. Man one day, I wish I could take down Sierra Towers and rebuild it cuz I think the outside looks terrible...haha....well, here are my atttempts at buidling houses! Enjoy!

OMFG.....APOCALYPTICA IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!! If you haven't heard of them, they're this Finnish band that plays like metal rock but with CELLOS!!!!! They sound sooooo awesome!!!! They have these really hard core rock stuff....but they can also play beautiful music...it's insane!!! So I put up some videos of them here....

Okay, for this one...you gotta see them live...okay, so they're a bit...uh...hardcore on the look...but hey, the expressions on their faces are priceless!! You can totally see the passion they play with in all their performances. For this one...I really don't expect you guys to like the piece...but just watch them play...the dude with the superlong hair is AMAZING...You can load the video first, and then skip to like 1:36 ish... and just watch his fingers (ignore his head)...then you can skip to like around 1:50... and, again, watch his fingers...then, go to around like 2:54 ish...OR, you could just watch the whole thing! Haha...but this stuff is kinda loud so make sure the volume isn't too high haha...

yup....so yeah....i put up some of my older stuff....the two boys are modeled after real people....and the girl...is just a figment of my imagination...so yeah.... there was this one drawing that I really liked....but I couldn't find it... oh well... yeah... except i don't like how i drew the lips of the light-haired boy (he's a man, actually...) whatever.... I'm just glad that I'm not failing Bible right now...

So, as I promised, here are some of my drawings...they're actually pretty recent...Anyways, sorry it took so long because I was UTTERLY AMAZED AND INSPIRED by twilit's most recent vignette... I just LOVED the last line of it! Truly inspiring!! My heart was overwhelmed with emotions and I had to let it out by drawing! So yeah, please enjoy my latest pieces!

So, first piece...sometime during the second semester, I fell in love with those pretty ancient Chinese clothing (the women outfits, of course) so what happened was, I decided to look up pictures of them. That's how I started browsing through wonderful artworks of pretty Chinese girls done by this Taiwanese artist...I believe his name was DeZhen...i forgot his last name...but Google him!! . Since I was really inspired by the beauty, I decided to draw a Chinese girl, too...except my skills only allowed me to draw the face and neck...nothing more....heh...



Next one...Still during the period of time where I was into drawing Chinese girls, I had to do my MGRP on GuanYin...So I was like "what the heck, I'm gonna draw what I think she/he looks like" cuz I didn't really like the ones I found for my slideshow...



Alrighty...this following head of a girl...is one of my attempts at using Photoshop to color...this one was the best out of all my tries...I wish I had a tablet...then my friend could teach me how to color better...=_=



Okies...this one is one of my favorites!!! I was looking at some pictures of my new favorite band and I came across this one that made me say, "wow, I like this, I wanna draw this!" So yeah...this one isn't original...except maybe the face...cuz I can't draw people's faces...so yeah...I just really like this one because the pose is just so cool!



Alrighty...now for the last one!! The one inspired by twilit's vignette!!! This is actually not really finished yet...it's still a draft...but I decided to do something with it anyway...So yeah, made it glowy and clearer with Photoshop and edited the text in... this is actually my first time drawing that kind of hair, so it looks kinda weird...but yeah...this was what my emotions said after I read the vignette...I actually was considering a couple of different angles and finally settled on this one...I hope you guys like it!

Soooooooooooooo, I said I was gonna upload some of my drawings/sketches and here they are! I usually like to draw when I'm bored so, if you look through my history textbooks, Chinese textbooks, and basically all my textbooks, you'll find random drawings! However, the ones here aren't from any of my textbooks...I drew them on the back of my essays!!! I took a picture of them and then edited them to look clearer and such...haha...okay, so here they are and I hope you enjoy!

Well, exams are over guys!!! Summer has officially begun for me (is it begun or began? oh well, no one cares about grammar)...I failed the PCH exam...but like doc said...the good thing is that it's over.......(5 min passes)......nope, still can't get over it...I feel like PCH is my boyfriend and I just got dumped...damn, this feels horrible...Well...sorry for all this negativity...let's go to my REAL post!

Well, my cousin (who goes to college in NY) came back for like 10 days...and during those ten days, she introduced me to this awesome series!!! It's called House!!! If you've never heard of it, it's a show about how a really funny and sarcastic diagnostics doctor, Dr. House (hence the name of the show), and his team of doctors solve weird cases of sicknesses. I swear to god, this show is soooooooo awesome!!! It's so interesting how they figure out what's wrong and it's especially cool when they "take risks". Anyways...it's hilarious...but many times, there are these really deep philosophical discussions...and I also find that interesting...it really makes me think about my life...And oh yeah...watching this show made me want to never lie to a doctor again...but then, it seems as if Dr. House is the only one who can tell when you're lying. In any case, don't lie when you don't know what's wrong with you...that could cause problems...

So, after my wonderful synopsis (dunno if you can actually call what I just wrote a synopsis)...you are probably wondering what the show is like! Soooooo, here are some clips!! Enjoy!
