Rules:

  1. Okay, I know no one follows this, but you must delete these songs after 24-48 hours or buy the CDs. You can buy Asian CDs at Yesasia, CD Japan, and Amazon.
  2. I don't zip files because I'm lazy, but if you have a decent internet speed you should be fine. And passwords are stupid. So I don't do that either. =D
  3. SUPPORT THE ARTISTS! =D I don't want these artists to quit because no one wants to buy their CDs. You can buy CDs from Amazon, YesAsia, and other anime stores and Asia-specific stores.
  4. I'm not responsible for computer deaths (or comas)...these files all work fine for me. >_>
  5. PLEASE COMMENT! It makes me happy to know that people actually come to my site. Even if you just want to say hi, I want to hear it! Please let me know how you like the rotations. It only takes a few seconds. You don't even have to tell me what you took. I would really appreciate it if you commented. I guarantee you won't be wasting your time. =D
  6. Did I mention that you should by the CDs?

This is how the rotation format goes:

Every day, I'll upload one song and review it and all that jazz, that way I don't have to do 8-15 songs all at once. As some days are busier than others, I may not get to uploading every single day, but I'll do my best to keep it up. I think, unless I go on a trip, that you can expect one at least every other day, but whenever possible I'd like to do it every day. But it will be ONE song a day a max, so if there are requests or multiple requests, I'll upload one a day until they run out and then I'll go back to my personal picks. Although the incentive to comment is lower, I should hope that you continue to comment for the sake of my motivation, because if no one comments I will eventually run out of steam. I run on love, of course. 8D Also feel free to be like "Hey I want more songs like this" or "I like this artist prz upload moar" or something, and I'll try to adhere to it.

Naturally, the songs will not stay on the site forever, after I upload 14 songs, the 15th will replace the first; so it becomes a true "rotation". Ideally the songs would be up for only 14 days but, heh, we do not live in a perfect world. So they'll probably be up for longer. xD

<------Anyway please remember to comment! The box is right there. :)

Album: Beatiful Ballad - 20th Anniversary Super Ballad Single Best - 02/22/2006
Hideaki Tokunaga - Boku ni Dekiru Koto (Ballad ver)
Japanese | Jpop | Slow ballad
4:30 | 10.3
This is a pretty nice slow ballad. It's got a lovely piano accompaniment, and it's pretty simple, but it's sweet and heartfelt, and of course Tokunaga's voice is very pleasant and resonating. It's really just a pleasant song, with a nice melody and a sweet accompaniment. Recommended! (Note that the linked video is not the ballad version, but they are similar enough.)

Single: Boku ga Tsuiteru - 04/01/2009
Tortoise Matusmoto - Boku ga Tsuiteru
Japanese | Jpop | Slow rock pop
4:30 | 10.3
Bahhhh sorry for the long absence. Things have been kinda crazy here, as I'm sure you can imagine. lol. Anyway, Tortoise Matsumoto was (or still is? not sure) the lead singer of the rock band Ulfuls, and he's also an actor, but recently he seems to be striking out on his own as a solo artist. His singing is actually pretty good, but I prefer it when he sings more upbeat rock sings. This song is pretty slow and a little uninteresting, although it's really not that bad of a song. Maybe if it was faster I'd like it more. :)

Miz - Bittersweet
English | Jpop | Pop rock
3:45 | 5.2
I first heard Miz when a friend of mine leant me her CD, and I must admit, for a nonstream artist she's really good! Her vocals are really quite good, and her rock feel kind of fits into the same category that Pink's music is associated with. Kind of punk pop rocky. Miz's vocals are not quite like Pink's but she's still really good. This song is a poppy rock ballad about a bittersweet mistake, and it's a really powerful demonstration of her vocals. Also, her English is really good. I'm impressed!

Heejin - Bimil (Secret)
Korean | Kpop | Slow Ballad
3:46 | 5.3
This is quite a nice ballad. It's purely acoustic, with an acoustic guitar playing in the background, and what sounds like Heejin's raw vocals. She isn't the most fantastic singer, but she sings quite well, especially for this song because it isn't complicated or anything. It's a slow song with a really sad feel to it; kind of bluesy and emotional. It's a really piece, very good for a rainy day.

Album: The First - 09/06/2007
8eight - Between (ft. Sun Ye,Ye Eun of Wonder Girls & Pdogg)
Korean | Kpop | Hip-hop
4:25 | 6.2
Anyone remember that old, OLD song that was on a Now CD when I was I third grade? So like, crap, 11 years ago, that goes "Every Step I take, every move I make I'll be missing you"? Anyway I think it was that long ago, it could be more or less. Well this song kind of takes parts of that song and incorporates it into a totally new song. I quite like the really old song a lot, and I love 8eight and Wonder Girls, and well every song that I've heard Pdogg featured in is awesome, so this song is winx1000. The melody is catchy and the song kind of a laid-back R&B/hip-hop type song with great vocals and great rapping. Overal recommended times a bajillion. :)
p.S. that song from like 11 years ago appears in the suggestions so I suggest you check it out if you don't know what song I'm talking about. xD

Single: Distance - 02/09/2011
Kana Nishino - BELOVED
Japanese | Jpop | R&B pop
4:36 | 10.6
I really love Kana Nishino. Her vocals are not AMAZING, but they are really good, and she doesn't have the generic female singing voice that many Japanese singers have. She's really talented, and has consistantly impressed me with her songs. This song is kind of R&B-esque but more pop influenced, but it's really nice. Kana sings really well, and the melody is rhythmic and pleasant and just overall excellent. I really like this song! I added it to my favorites list and my karaoke playlist. :)

S.H.E - Beauty Up My Life
Chinese (Mandarin) | Cpop | Upbeat pop/Dance
2:56 | 5.6
Wow, this song is so dancey! I just feel like I should be up out of my chair para-para-ing right now. The arrangement is so cheerful and fun! But the rest of the song doesn't give the same vibe, and it's actually od confusing. D: The vocals are soft and the melody actually kind of slow, but of course sped up by the tempo. Idk, it seems to be kind of mismatched. It's not bad though. I just don't know how I'm supposed to feel as I listen to this song. xD; Also for some unknown reason they also sing in Japanese during the chorus. Very strange. lol.

Big Mama - Beautiful Day
Korean | Kpop | Upbeat pop
3:38 | 8.4
Wow, I don't listen to this group much but man do they have powerful vocals! It's a group of four young women, and they sing like powerhouses! They've gpot range, power, and control. I'm really impressed. And this song is a really, really upbeat song, kind of uplifiting I'm guessing by the English lyrics. xD It's a cool song! I recommend. :)

Single: Shakunetsu Finger de Fever - 07/28/2010
Kazuki Kato - BEACH
Japanese | Jrock/Jpop | Pop rock
4:22 | 10.1
So again the only reason I happen to have this song is because it's part of a single that appeared on the oricon charts. xD But I really like it! It's edgy and punky and poppy and fun. Very energetic! I kind of feel the summery beachness of it. I can imagine a music vidoe with a bunch of guys doing stupid stuff on the beach xD It just has a fun image to it. Maybe it's not the best song on the planet but it's still catchy and fun! :D

Album: To Love - 12/05/2003
Faye Wong - Yang Bao (Sunshine Baby)
Chinese (Mandarin) | Cpop | Mellow pop
4:06 | 9.5
This is a really wonderful song by a wonderful singer. It's laid back and relaxing, with smooth vocals and mellow instrumentals. It sounds kind of like something that should play in a cafe, like a place where you drink tea or coffee and just go to relax. I love it! It's just so relaxing and pleasant. Just goes to show that you can never go wrong with Faye Wong. She's always a win. Also P.S., the file's title is the song title reversed. Sorry about that. ._.;

Single: Kamisama no Isu e.p. - 04/07/2010
tacica - Baka (Idiot)
Japanese | Jrock | Pop rock
4:59 | 11.4
I actually really quite like this band. They've had a couple of things pop up on the Oricon charts and I remember liking both of them, although admittedly I couldn't tell you what they sounds like. xD; But anyway I like the vocalist's voice. It doesn't fall into the category of typical Jrock singers and it flows well with the band's overall style. This song is kind of not really that rocky? Because it's really mostly drums and vocals. In the beginning the vocals are kind of electronified (is that a word?) and you expect it's building up to something. But it takes a REALLY long time to build up to the climax. So long, in fact, that I wondered if there was actually going to be a climax. xD But the climax is awesome, so it's alright. I like this song, especially the climax, but it's definitely not my favorite because that buildup is just too long. xD

Single: Timeless - 09/11/2006
Zhang Li Yin - Y (Why...) (Korean version)
Korean | Kpop | R&B Ballad
3:31 | 3.3
Man it has been FOREVER since I last listened to Zhang Li Yin. She needs to release more stuff. >_> Anyway I love this woman! Her voice is fantastic! It's got the power and range of a member of your stereotypical black gospel choir, and she can really belt those notes out. I love it! This song is an R&B style ballad (at least I think? idek I can't do genres anymore lmao) with a nice melody and great arrangement. It's not my absolute favorite of her songs, but it's awesome, and it's a fantastic display of her vocal abilities. Definitely recommended. :)

Album: Begin... - 03/04/2003
Cyndi Wang - Baby Baby Tell Me
Chinese | Cpop | Happy ballad
3:31 | 3.3
Lol sorry for disappearing. I get SUPER lazy during long breaks from school. x_x; It's so bad, lol. Anyway this is a cute cpop ballad. Cyndi Wang is not a particular favorite singer of mine, and judging from this song there isn't too much talent behind her cute face, but who am I to judge? xD I don't really care if she can sing or not though, because if a song is enjoyable, it doesn't matter. This song is a cute and fun ballad, with a happy melody and cheerful feel to it. It gives me a strong image of the early 2000s, now that I think about it, which is when it's from. xD Anyway, CPop fans will probably enjoy!

Humming Urban Stereo - Ayurbeda Swimming
none | Kpop | Mellow instrumental
3:36 | 8.3
I don't know a lot about Humming Urban Stereo but I know I really, really like this song. It sounds kind of like something that should come off of the Katamari Damacy soundtrack. xD It's a mellow and cool instrumental with a real variety of sounds that just creates an awesome collective music. I get this feel of a young person striding confidently through a city, with the sun shining and people happy and trees bright green. It's just really pleasant and awesome. I DEFINITELY recommend!!
