Raw Paws is a great place to start learning about improving your pet's diet. While some Yahoo Groups tend to be very ideologically strict, Raw Paws is flexible and they also have great quick start guides so you can immediately improve upon your pet's diet without doing enough reading to get a degree in animal nutrition!

Use this site to find out what nutrients are in the food you're feeding. For example, if you enter "raw lung" you'll pull up entries for beef, pork, veal and lamb, and you can see exactly what nutrients your dog will be getting.
