Raw Paws is a great place to start learning about improving your pet's diet. While some Yahoo Groups tend to be very ideologically strict, Raw Paws is flexible and they also have great quick start guides so you can immediately improve upon your pet's diet without doing enough reading to get a degree in animal nutrition!
This group is dedicated to the "Whole Prey'" or "Franken-prey"model of raw feeding, which we subscribe to here. There's a lot of information in these archives!
A site dedicated to the raw feeding and holistic care of greyhounds.
A community of animal lovers devoted to using medicinal silver in conjunction with other alternative and standard approaches to keeping our pets healthy and happy. Colloidal Silver is available through Awesome Paws.
A great website that explains the many uses of this product. We recommend it's use for a natural alternative to worming and flea control. We will be offering this product for sale sometime later in 2008. You can also view the history of the use of this product, and what McGill university thinks of it, right here.
Use this site to find out what nutrients are in the food you're feeding. For example, if you enter "raw lung" you'll pull up entries for beef, pork, veal and lamb, and you can see exactly what nutrients your dog will be getting.

Camp Greyhound Approved Pet Professionals
Here at Awesome Paws and Camp Greyhound we are of an alternative frame of mind. Our rule is to do no harm, and we've found that using holistic practitioners for our pets as well as ourselves really supports this philosophy in a way that western medicine does not. The great thing about holistic care is that you can, if you chose, combine it with your current allopathic care to lessen any harmful effects from drugs or invasive procedures. With that in mind, we have started to compile a list of holistic practitioners that we've used and like. Our practioners are all fully qualified in their fields, and have earned the Camp Greyhound Seal of Approval for doing a great job with our pets.

These two positions are like night and day - it's important when you're deciding where your donation dollars go to make sure you know where the recipient of those dollars stands, and where you stand. Many people give donations based on inflammatory stories or based on a celebrity spokesperson. Make sure you do your research before donating.
