Today I completed Level 1 of AVP at the John Howard Society in Calgary. In a word: inspiring! I had an idea what my occur, yet my idea was outdone by the facilitators, Jessica and Sandy, which in turn infused our group with trust, risk, deep delight, and powerful sharing. I am looking forward to Levels 2 and 3, as one of the amazing aspects of this intensive four day process, was that I learned so much about myself, and so much about the astounding individuals whom I met. Individuals, 98% male, who did not flinch at sharing their authentic, edgy, humorous, raw, and kind selves.

Responding to Margot - Right on to hear about your experience last August at Calgary John Howard Level 1 AVP - Jessica and Sandy Facilitators. A while ago I was connected to the dancewithwords poetry discussion list and enjoyed it very much and your moderation. I am an AVP facilitator for AVP-Alberta since 1994 and just wanted to say hello, and apologies for being slow in doing a catch up read of the AVP-Canada website.
All the best, and I hope to meet you one day,
Judy
