Avonlea Estates is a close-knit, humble show facility focused on breeding and showing top Hunter/Jumpers. As every horse has a different personality, we strive to develop each horse's temperament in a way that remains true to their nature and brings out their best performance. We maintain a professional but personal atmosphere, and every individual involved with Avonlea Estates strives to build on the athleticism, spirit, and health of our horses.

UPDATES

July 29: It has been a long time since our last update and many exciting things have occurred here at Avonlea! Several of our horses have moved up divisions, and we'd like to take the time now to announce Parable is now a Continental Champion (CCh) and competing at 4th Level Dressage! He will be available for public stud bookings next breeding season to a limited number of outside mares.

We would like to welcome Shadowspook to the Avonlea family! He is a 7 year old Thoroughbred stallion who came off the track in December 2007 and currently competes in the Pre-Green Hunters. We anticipate seeing some great things from him in the next few years, and he will also be available for a small number of public stud bookings next season. Although Avonlea Estates has made its name showing and breeding warmbloods, we are planning to expand our program to focus on bringing classic Thoroughbreds back into the Hunter ring. Taking Back Sundays (showing successfully in Regular Working Hunter and Regular Conformation Hunter) and Shadowspook will be our foundation stallions for this goal.
