Why Do Zuko and Iroh cut off their hair things in avatar state?
1.topknots/ponytails are a symbol of being upper class which they are trying not to be in order to not be found.
2. they look different without it (especially Zuko) and with all the people hunting them, including regular poor people trying to collect the bounty, they would be easy to find
in the first episode Iroh says to Zuko that power in firebending comes from breath not muscle. Why?
fire cant go without oxygen so the more you breathe the more fire you make and the more powerful it is. if you light a match and put it in a bottle the fire will go out.
