Avalon guinea pig rescue

Guinea pigs need re-homing for all sorts of reasons, sometimes they are just no longer wanted and sometimes very caring owners are unable to keep their much loved piggies. No matter what the reason, owners can be sure that their piggies will receive the very best of care until a new home can be found.

EVENTS.

Avalon Guinea Pig Rescue attend lots of events to raise funds to run our rescue. We take piggies to schools for cuddle sessions; we attend fairs and fetes with our stall which can include a tombola or lucky dip, piggie items for sale as well as lots of our rescued piggies to cuddle at the event.  We now work with the RSPCA,Trading Standards,Environmental Health and Melton Mowbray Market by checking every guinea pig that is in the auction

Everyone at the rescue would like to wish everyone a Very Happy Christmas and thank you for your continued support

We will be open through Christmas and the New Year and would like to remind you to either take your piggies inside into the warm or place plenty of bedding/hay etc in their hutches and cover them over to protect them from the cold weather
