Elizabeth's Australian Adventure

At the end of August, I got a letter telling me I was recommended to be a People to People Student Ambassador, travelling to Australia in the summer of 2007! I went to the orientation meeting, and learned even more about the program. After a few more meetings with my delegation leader, I found out that I was definately headed down under this coming summer. Not only that, but I am going with one of my best friends! I can't wait! This summer, I am venturing to the other side of the globe- Australia, with a group called People to People. People to People believes that nations can form peace through personal connections and understanding. I will be going with a group of about 40 kids, and several adult leaders. We will be travelling up and down Australia's eastern coast for 20 days. I hope to gain experiance as a person, and as a traveller. Keep checking back for more updates!
