NEWS ON FLORIDA AUTHOR-THON-2008
February 2008- (23 and 24) There will be a new Author-Thon with a terrific new sponsor. This event will still be basically the same (Author's helping the community) yet, we have opened the Author-Thon to all authors from all publishers. We have a new place and there will be some minor changes. When one door closes a window opens and we have super people willing to be a part of this major event.

The first Author-Thon we had about 15 wonderful authors. (March 2006)
The second Author-Thon we had 40 people sign up and 30 authors came to the event. (October 2006)
We have a wonderful time and as of now we have about 10 authors signed up. We fill up fast, even this far in advance. We have media contacts for the Author-Thon and we are becoming well known in the community.
