Hello, I’m Guinam!
My mistress usually calls me Numme. I’m a aunt to Bashyr (a littersister of his mom Wughalee).
When I was a very little pup, I moved in with my bosses and Zia (a Basenji). In a very short time Zia and I became best friends. Actually Zia was like a second mom to me.
Zia had 4 pups when I arrived. They were just as bossy as their mom, but it was great fun playing with them!
My mistress and I were very busy with doing all kinds of things together: obedience training, sheepherding, agility, cycling and we even participated in a few dogshows.
I just love to work together with my mistress!
Like Zia and Bashyr I’m a Dutch (show) Champion too. I don’t care for showing much: there’s not enough action there and it’s way too crowded for my likings.
Zia, our mistress and I passed our endurance exam (20 km trotting next to the bike) together.
For the obedience exam (international obedience, level 1) my mistress and I passed as the best of our group!
While playing with a friend one day I totally missed that the way to the beach had completely vanished. This resulted in me falling down 2,5 meters! Due to this accident I’ve had a very sore back. A whole load of doctors have checked me out (also with lots of x-rays) thorrowly, but the only thing they could do was to give me painkillers. Eversince I had to be careful and no more wild jumping or running. This was the end of my training carreer!
During our holiday in Sweden (May 2007), we happened to meet Annika Falkenberg a animal-physiotherapist. She explained to my mistress how to massage me. This has helped so incredibly well, that I’m now able to run and jump again without any pain!!! Thanx soooooo much, Annika!!!
I’m very communicative: I love to comment on everything and tell whole stories about what’s going on and what I think of it! When you’ve got the most beautiful voice in the world, it’s a shame not to share it!
I’m also the sweetest dog ever! In my entire life I’ve never ever faught with other dogs nor with humans. I love to please my mistress, which makes that I hardly ever need to walk on leash.
At the early 2004 tiny Bashyr came to live with us. Zia and I immediately started educating him! He needed to be told what his place in our pack is! I do think Bashyr is a sweet boy, eventhough he can be over-enthousiastic and a bumpkin. Fortunately he’s got a lot of respect for me and he obeys both me and our bosses very well.
Together with Zia and Bashyr I assisted our mistress in our weekly trip to a nursing home as a cuddle dog. I loved showing off with my best tricks and I also enjoyed all the attention!
When Zia became blind and later when she was put to sleep, I felt a lot of support from our ‘Mister: Let me entertain you!’.
Nowadays I’m Chief of Dogs in our home! Ok, it’s only two of us... but still! J

A bitch of excellent type. She moves around the ring as a Kelpie should. Correct head. Good bite. Sufficient neck. Good front angulation. Correct width and depth of chest. Cut-up and flank is correct. Excellent hindquarters. She moves truely coming and going. Reaches and drives with power. I could imagine her working all day.
