This site traces the final league positions of Hurst FC/Ashton United and their opponents from their first season of competition in 1891 onwards. It follows the club through the Manchester League, in and out of the Lancashire Combination and Cheshire County League, via a brief spell in the Midlands League, until the reorganisation of the non-league pyramid; from there on the focus is on the North West Counties League, Northern Premier League and Conference North football.
