Errors? Information? Updates? Omissions? All help gratefully accepted... bear with us; this project was started from scratch in 2006 and still has a long way to go! So far only the period from the club joining the Manchester League in 1909 until the mid 1950's has been covered in any detail, along with the last ten or fifteen season where old programmes are available.
Statistical information is drawn from many sources; some records give only league appearances for players - wherever possible all appearances in all competitions are recorded. Additional information always welcome. Every attempt has been made to separate players with common surnames (Taylor, Jones, Smith, etc) into individual records. If data is inconclusive then a separate entry has been made for each person.
