Hello my name is Ichabod Crane, schoolteacher, intellect, and my nephew would call me ghosting rod. Welcome to Kingsport, Conneticut.

You may know of me from the short story by Washington Irving, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Oh he had a way with a yarn did Mr. Irving. Anyway, or you may have seen the many film versions like the Disney cartoon or the versions starring Jeff Goldblum or Johnny Depp (the latter starring Mr. Depp is not my favorite version but I like it slightly better than our Librarian, Auburn, who despises it.) If you are wondering what happened after my ill-fated excursion to upstate New York, then our Fair Librarian has written a story involving myself and witches and wizards( Brr, frightens me thinking about it) In my section you will find this story along with some great songs to sing along with, and some interesting essays. Now enjoy and sit a spell! (Aha! a spell because there are witches. It's a joke. Oh, sorry). Now if you will excuse me, I hear something outside so I shall crawl somewhere to hide. Gulp!

Legend of Kingsport-What happened to me after my infamous midnight ride? I returned home naturally, but  I became involved more with ghosts and witches this time. Read and find out. This, by the way, is based upon the short story and the Disney version, NOT the Johnny Depp film. Rated PG-13 for scary scenes, violence, and gruesome scenes. (Does that leave me out from starring in it? Didn't think so.)

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving- This is the original short story all about me and my adventures with the Headless Horseman. Not my finest hour, but it has been relived many times.

The Legend of Kingsport Coven Profiles- Here are profiles of the Coven including a new friend that they meet in their travels. Plus, profiles of friends, family including myself, and enemies. You will find some things that you didn't know about us or thought you did. (But how many of us really know about each other? It is a puzzle that has stunned many of us Enlightened thinkers for years and oh dear sometimes I am too schoolteacherish for my own good.)
