Dear Visitor,
Welcome to my class webpage.
We will cover a lot of material in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. The 6th graders will study ancient history from the beginnings, through ancient Egypt & Mesopotamia, to Greece & Rome, and then will study the early civilizations in the Americas: Olmecs, Mayas, Incas, and Aztecs! 
The seventh graders will study Medieval history, including Japan, China, Africa, and the middle civilizations in the Americas. They will even memorize the locations of all of the current countries in Africa!
The eighth graders will review all of the above and will study the history of the United States from its early discovery (before it even became the United States) through the Civil War. They will test on material learned in 6th through 8th grade and will do great!
Congratulations to the graduated 8th graders. I know that you will do great this year in high school. You were a great start to my morning, 8T, and a great end to my day, 8M. Good luck!
For those of you who are coming into the 7th and 8th grades this year, I look forward to the great things that we will learn and experience. We will do even more than we did this year.
Welcome to the incoming 6th grade. Middle School is a different experience and I know that you will love it here!
