Official Transport

The bus departs North St at 09:45 and we can pick up and drop off at Swanwick, Ripley and  Derby. We will be heading straight for the South West Lancashire area where we will have a couple of hours at Lathom (for The Ship) near to Burscough.

Usual prices of £10 for adult ATFCSA members, £12 adult non-members, and £5 for all under 16's. Seats can now be booked by contacting either Mark on 01773 836251 or Wozza on 07795 552721.

By Car

Take the A38 to Derby and West onto the A50 to Stoke on Trent. At the end of the A50 (just past Stoke City's Britannia Stadium on the left) turn left at the roundabout onto the A500 and follow signs for M6. Join the M6 North at J15. Exit M6 at J27 and at turn left on to the A5209 for Parbold(Crow Orchard Road, and then Hall Lane). Carry on along the A5209 for approx 6 miles going through Newburgh and into Burscough. As you are going into Burscough the A5209 becomes Briars Lane and you will pass The Briars Hotel on your left. Turn right at the second mini roundabout into Junction Lane (B5241 signposted Burscough & Martin Mere). Carry on along Junction Lane, to the junction with the A59 and at the traffic lights turn right onto the A59 Liverpool Road North. Carry on for approx 500 yards, and take the 1st left after the canal bridge into Mart La. The ground in 200 yards at the end of Mart Lane.

There is limited parking on the streets around the ground.

The Ship - 4 Wheat Lane, Lathom, Lancashire, L40 4BX - Moorhouses Black Cat, Pride pf Pendle & Pendle Witches Brew; Theakston Bitter; Wells Bombarier are available in addition to wide range of guest beers. Nicknamed "The Blood Tub" for some connection to Black Pudding Making, this picturesque haunted 200 year old pub is at the junction of two canals and provides reasonably priced food!

Just off the A5209 on the way into Burscough by the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
