Michael Atanian's WWII Diorama's

This website contains photographs of  Michael Atanian's World War II dioramas. The models and figures used in these dioramas are primarily in 1/35th scale, however, some are in 1/48th scale. Michael has won awards in numerous regional diorama contests. Some of these award winning dioramas are photographed in the following web pages. MAKE SURE TO VISIT  www.freewebs.com/joesoldiers for more WWII dioramas. website visitors:

ALSO>>>>remember to visit the Springfield Museums in Springfield, Massachusetts to view my latest diorama collaboration with Joe Carvalho (Joesoldiers website creator). Exhibition opens November 30, 2005 at the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum. These dioramas will be on a Medieval theme with over 1,000 hand-painted knights in 54mm scale. ONe of the dioramas will be of a massive castle being beseiged! See you there.....

This flak emplacement illustrates the blending of figures with fortifications to add realism to the scene

By using the camera's zoom lens, the micro-detail of the diorama is revealed
