Dad and Mom
Together they have stood
For thirty happy years.
Through troubles and through joy -
Through laughter and through tears.
Dad to guard and protect,
And listen to his wife;
The woman he doth love,
Who's wise as a serpent -
But gentle as a dove.
Mom to support and love
The man that she married.
Who instructs her gently:
That as she does her best -
To do it cheerfully.
And both to try to raise -
Us children in the Lord.
To show us how to love,
To do the best we can,
And serve the Lord above.
We can never thank you
For all you've done for us.
These words are just too small.
But Happy Anniversary -
To you. With love from us all.
