Wide Field Photography


The photographs on this page have all been taken with a Nikon D50 DSLR camera with zoom lenses ranging from 22 to 300mm. The camera was positioned on a driven equatorial mount to facilitate longer exposures. The camera settings were  ISO1600 ASA, 90 seconds exposure at ~f5.
