An Introduction to Digital Atronomy
These web pages describe my first steps into the world of digital astro photography. All the images are taken with my 250mm Orion Europa Newtonian F4.8 Reflector and a Philips ToUCam Pro web cam. Generally, I use Registax to process the raw AVI files from the web cam and I then use Paintshop Pro 7 to add a final unsharp mask and any colour enhancement that may be needed.
All my experiences to-date have been with the kind advice from members of the Ilkeston & District Astronomical Society.
