Asterisk is a small basement solo electronic act out of Flushing, Michigan

Hi my name is Dan and I am the working mind behind Asterisk. I have had a love for electronic music since my early years when i spent the greater portion of my time listening to jazz and R&B. I grew up in Flint, Michigan so my roots were strongly planted in that type of music, mainly the R&B portion. One day i came to realize i was white (...ahem) and the rest is history. I figured out about electronica around the age of 14 and instantly fell in love.

It wasnt till about a year ago or so that I got strongly involved in the actual production of it though. And now here i am, just a guy in a basement 'studio' with a keyboard and some software trying to make what i consider to be music.
