The Militants had an awesome show last saturday, being the first opening band for "A Go Go Flea" Organised by Uncle Bob Production, playing alongside with "Bhellion & Thambi K Sheow and other great band etc".

Assault Line-Up Changes:

We are sad to announce that "Iyan" our rhythm Guitarist will be leaving Assault after the recording of "The Expections Of The Rebellions", as of now there's no plan yet to audition for another guitarist. Below is the Current Line-up Of Assault :

Recording Details:
The militants will heading to studio officially on 3 october to record their first ep entitled "The Expection of The Rebellions", which will be recorded at sounds advice studio, we are proud to have Meza Virs Vocalist "Cedric" as our producer for this record. Tracklist is as followed:

1. War On Humanity
2. Rebellions Retribution
3. Subversion
4. Deeds of the Cold War (Title might have some changes)

So far tentatively release date of the EP will be late October or Early November. More detail will be reveal in times to come.

Assault Live @ Crawlspace, 12 September Featuring Bands like "Armchair Critic,Bhelliom,Thami K Seaow", We will be the opening band for this event!, this will also be the Militants last gig before we head over to Sounds Advice Studio to focus on our recording EP "The Expection Of Rebellions" , This will also be the last show for our Sessionist drummer from Cruxifixion "Faizal" , The militants salute & thanks him for helping us covering for this two show!! so do come-down and support us & the other great band!

Assault First GIG since 2007, this is truely the beginning to kickstart a brand new year for the band. "War on Humanity" one of the track on our Upcoming EP will be play that day, due to our original drummer on medical leave, the Militants is very honour to have "Faizal" from Cruxifixion to cover the drum for us!

Hi guys, just to inform there will not be anymore jamming news updated here from July 8 onwards, as the band is working hard for our EP which will be recorded in September at Sound Advices studio. All update of Assault will be up on their myspace, unless there some major news from the band.

Last Saturday Jamming marks the return of a full - band lineup when rhythm guitarist "Iyan" return to the band for the practice session . Its has been almost a year since Assault had a full lineup practice session. Alongside with The Burning Shield we had a 1 and a half hour session, The militants will be heading for studio in late september to record their first EP entitled " The Expection of the Rebellions".

Due to some reason, Assault supposely to perform on 27 june "Doomdays 2" will be postpone to July, More detail will be unveil soon over on our myspace . Had a tight & intense jamming session alongside with our good brother in arms "The Burning Shield". Also the militants has confirm that they will be heading to studio in middle of September to record their first ep "The Expection of The Rebellions".

Its been almost 2 months since the militants had jammed, due to hanesh guitar being lent to one of his friends, recently he's just got it back from hin and till than Assault resume our jamming in preparing ourself for the upcoming gig in June. This will be the offical first "Metal" gig for the militants since their formation in 3 years back, but still they had played over 3 show in 2007. Detail upon the Doomdays gig in june will be reveal soon on Assault Offical Myspace.

The militants have returned from their 2008 hiatus. Jamming standards were below average even though it was a fun jam. Nevertheless, the band use the opportunity to catch up on each other & how their lives has changed since enlisting in National Service.
