Neshia Marshelle Bridges

 

Neshia Marshelle Bridges was born on May 25, 1971, in Fairmont, West Virginia. Outside the city of Fairmont is a small country town called Grant Town, WV, where Ms. Bridges grew up and was raised by her grandmother, Rose Lee Moody. Growing up around relatives that shaped her life into what it is today, Ms. Bridges life story is not your average, everyday, typical fairytale story. Her strong love of writing poetry and faith in GOD has allowed her to endure the tragedy of her brother’s death. Overcoming adversities in a male dominant environment and finding a way to rise above her hardships, her passion is inspiring others. With love and support from her mother, Corliss Bridges, and the will and determination to succeed, she has been able to start her own business, Aspire Uniqueness, LLC, creating custom made garments; established the WCB Foundation, Inc. in honor of her late brother, William Charleton Bridges; author and publish a book called Misery Loves Company; and become a figure fitness model.  Ms. Bridges has been   featured in various news articles, publications and in the national Oxygen Magazine June 2007 as a “Tomorrow's Cover Girl.”  She was selected in December 2007 as Lift for Life COM Model of the Month and has competed against amateur and professional level models.  Her future projects include publication of a collection of her own poetry, finishing her degrees at FSU in Fashion Design (Spring 2009) and Marketing and Fashion Merchandising (Spring 2010). She plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Communications at WVU in Fall 2010 and own her own boutique by Spring 2009.  Ms. Bridges has been employed at Sam’s Club as a Marketing Manager since 1989.
