Killed at the Vile Village for looking similar to Count Olaf. The real Count Olaf killed him.
He has a unibrow, like Count Olaf.
Jerome was Jacques good friend and followed Jacques' advice. Jerome bought the penthouse apartment on 667 Dark Avenue because Jacques told him to. Jacques also told Jerome not to marry Esme, but the letter was most likely intercepted by the hook-handed man (Fernald) who was disguised as a doorman.
He was on the Prospero at one point, probably as "Sailor Snicket."
Jacques is one of many "J.S.'s" (this information may be useful in the future).

Violet
Violet is the oldest Baudelaire child. Her current age is 15. Violet likes to invent things. Here is a list of some things she has invented...

A grappling hook made out of torn sheets of clothing and metal rods

A lockpick made out of two prongs from an electrical socket, a thumbtack, and some soap

A signaling device made out of a piece of cloth, fishing pole, metal bucket, and burning hairnet

A staple-making device using a small crab, a potato, metal rods, creamed spinach, and a fork

A rope made out of extension cords, curtains, and neckties

Welding torches made out of heated fire tongs

Crowbars made out of bent fire tongs

A battering ram using a wooden plank, water, and spongy bread

A Self-Sustaining Hot Air Mobile using various mechanical devices

An intercom sytem using an empty soup can with a hole

An escape device made out of rubber bands

An escape vehicle cart using vines, roller coaster parts and a piece of rubber

A drag chute using hammocks and a mixture of sticky condiments

Violet's Disguises

Patient - Even though she did not disguise herself she was still in hiding. Count Olaf disguised her so he could make a fake operation and "accidentally" cut her head off.

Beverly - She and her brother dressed like a two headed-freak.

Klaus is the middle Baudelaire child and is the only boy. Klaus is 13. His favorite thing to do it to read.

Sunny
Sunny is the youngest Baudelaire child and is only an infant, although she becomes a toddler later in the series. Sunny's favorite thing to do is to bite things.

Chabo the Wolf Baby - She dressed up in a fake beard. She was supposed to be half baby, half wolf.
