Once abortion was legalized in 1973, seven people have been killed and more than 150 clinics bombed or set on fire by people who disagreed with Roe v. Wade. Film SOLDIERS IN THE ARMY OF GOD presents the tin soldiers who are behind more than 2,400 incidents of violence against doctors and abortion clinics in the past 28 years. This is a story about the people who are not exercising first amendment rights, they are not trying to "counsel" patients; they are not peaceful picketers.
They are - intentionally, openly and usually without restraint - terrorizing people and encouraging others to do the same. They joyfully celebrate murder and maiming, hold banquets and give awards lauding those guilty of arson, bombing and murder, as well as share how-to-manuals with instructions for building bombs, booby traps and sniping. And yet it's all done as an act of faith.
Soldiers need to remember that they fight the enemy with love. God our King would never indorse this type of warfare. These are misguided people who the adversary has gotten a stronghold of. They have not fed off the meat of the word and are spiritually weak. They are driven by their emotions and are at war with God by their misguided actions. Their actions are no different than a Muslim blowing them selves up in a crowded marketplace. They think they are doing Gods work because they are being disillusioned by the adversary. Any violent action taken in the name of God is un-Godly…Period. Real Soldiers of God need to pray that these misguided souls get touched by the Holy Spirit and come to their senses and become real soldiers of the God of Love. We need to provide alternative solutions for women that are being directed by the adversary to think that their blessing is a curse.
