WELCOME TO ASHWOOD FARMS

We are a small farm dedicated to providing a healthy, happy lifestyle to our family and animals. We do our best to live as "organically" as possible and do the same for our pets and livestock. Our little 5 acre farm is a haven for us and a continued work in progress.

As with most Alaskan families, the list of
to-do's are never ending. With the short summer months there is only so much time to get jobs, projects and things done. So, we have been "chipping away" each summer for the past 4 years trying to form our property into our dream farm. As with anything, the key to happiness is to "Bloom Where You're Planted". Be happy with what you have and thankful for everyday.

We offer training and help to those who love the horse and desire to have a special bond with them. Our training systems are exclusive to AWF and have been developed by us over the years with many different horses. We do not implement harsh training restraints or methods, nor do we force the horse to comply. We are dedicated to building confidence and trust with every horse we work with. Our horses show respect, love and willingness  while on the ground and under saddle.
