ASHILL APPALOOSA'S

 Hi we are a small Appaloosa stud situated in the South East of England.   We are just outside Hastings, on the South Coast.

Our aim is to produce sporting Appaloosa's, and to breed a race winning Appaloosa.

Our horses have been bred over the last 30 years, keeping the foundation American and British stock, and outcrossing only to quality Thoroughbreds .

Our horses are bred for their conformation, athletic abilities, quality, as well as trying to keep the Appaloosa trait's.

We (Gordon and Kim ) have been in horses most of our lives.   We have been lucky enough to have looked after some of the best horses in the world.   We spent a few years running yards at the National stud in Newmarket.   Gordon ran a maiden mare yard, and I ran a nursery yard.   Out of season we prepared horses for all the big sales, and worked for IRT in the quarantines destined for Australia and New Zealand.

After leaving The National Stud, we moved to southern Ireland to run a Stud for one of the top National Hunt owners, Trevor Hemmings, who amongst many other good horses he own's and has bred include Hedgehunter 2005 Grand National winner, Trabolgan, Grey Clouds, Cloudy Lane, Tonoco and many others.

At the end of 2006 after seven years in Ireland, we decided that we would come back to the UK to pursue our own dreams with our own horses.
