Introduction

Updated September 27th 2004

Continuing with the trend of showing where you model - here is a picture of my workshop, a sunhouse at the bottom of the garden.  As you can see there is electicity, however on cold, winter nights I have to turn off one of the lights (which both run with 'daylight' bulbs) and/or the radio to run a small fan heater.

Current work-in-progress includes some Flintloque figures which are waiting a coat of varnish, a couple of Aeronef models, which are nearly finished and yet another Steam Tank, finished, but waiting for a coat of paint.  Those keen eyed modellers will see that I use a whole range of acrylic paints, inks and washes (some quite a few years old, with a whole load of fresh pots stored waiting for the day I need them).

And yes - I have cleaned it up before taking the photo!  But I should have changed the water in the jar!

The up-dates this time are added photos and comments, plus a whole new section on single figures - just to show that I do paint figures other than Flintloque.

Updated July 30th 2004

The 'Flintloque' theme continues with another Dampfpanzerwagon and some 'Undead Daleks', but also a new VSF (Victorian Science Fiction) section with a 'scratch built' Weapon of Mass Destruction and two fleets of Aeronef's for my own VSF background.

Two updates - the first is examples of scenery and even work in progress, while the second shows two competition winners, an elf from LOTR and a space marine.

Updated February 29th 2004

I have up-loaded new photographs to replace the initial images,  The new photos have been taken on a MINOLTA Dimage Z1 with 3.2 million pixels where as the initial photos have been taken with a FUJIFILM MX 1200.  The big difference is the better focus.  I hope that you enjoy the better quality!

-----------------------------------

My name is Tony Harwood, originally born and brought-up in Swansea, South Wales, I now live with my wife, Susan and two teenage children, Holly and Gary in Droitwich, Worcs.

I was a child at the time of Airfix kits in plastic bags sold through Woolworths and still get a great deal of satisfaction from building models and painting figures.

I would consider myself a figure painter first, a modeller second and a wargamer third.

I have intended building a web page to exhibit these models for some time and this 'freewebs' site has given me (well my son) the opportunity to experiment.  I have included a number of painted models/figures and hope that you enjoy viewing them.

It is my intention to up-date these pages on a regular basis, taking photographs off as well as adding to them.

Please enjoy them.

Tony
