Version 1.03 NOTE: I have yet to find any secrets or interesting tidbits in any of the three bonus levels, so I left them out of this FAQ. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Foundry: 1: If you grind all five valves (Un-Jam the Valves goal), a door will open near where the level starts, and inside is a large spiral generator over a bowl (Just try and grind all the way down without falling in! (I've done it!) :P ) 2: Go ahead a bit from where you start, and jump onto the catwalk (use one of those fan things to do it). Follow it around, and you will get to a glass control room high above the area. You can jump out and grind the bar ahead of you (secret tape goal) to get to one of two small flat areas. From there you can jump to a huge 3/4 pool and rail area. 3: Here's a quick way to get up into the area in #2: Max out your speed, Hangtime, Ollie, and Air stats, and use the quarter-pipe next to the melting pot control booth to jump up (at an angle) and grind the yellow rail. Then jump off the rail, towareds the right, into the secret area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Canada: 1: Go past the bully, cross the busted bridge, Ollie over the snowy quarter-pipe, and grind the rail next to a brown machine with a lever on it. It will turn on, and raise the half-pipe ahead of you. 2: After you finish #1, you can use the higher half-pipe to jump up into another half-pipe, and then jump onto a ramp that leads up to two abandoned mine cart rails. The inner rail goes around the mountain, and the outer one goes up to let you grab the secret tape. 3: If you lip-trick where the guy is urinating off the ledge (near tip #1), you can knock him into the lake below. 4: Outside the fence that goes around the skate park is a totem pole, if you grind the fence, and then jump off and grind the totem pole, you can knock it's head off. (tough to get the hang of) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rio: 1: From where you start, turn left and go down the green ramp and past the Quicksilver sign. Across the road there is a gap between two buildings with a rickety fence between them. Break it to get to a secret area with a bonus deck, a big pool, a rail, and some benches. 2: This is a bug, not an area, but I'll put it in here anyway. To the right of where you start, there are two thin iron gates. If you've won Moon Physics, you can jump over them to get to a large, empty, and very glitchy area. 3: There's a stand with a green banner on it to the right of where you start, you can skate through the center pole to knock down the stand. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Suburbia: 1: Ahead of you is a pink house (next to the guy with the busted antenna). If you Ollie off one of the grassy areas on one side of the door, and land on the other (very tough to do), you will ring the doorbell. 2: The door on the haunted house opens a bit once in awhile (it slams shut if you go near), but if your quick you can jump through (but you'll fall to your death). The Demoness gets a different death message. 3: After you help the thin man, you can go inside the haunted house and Ollie over the quarter pipe (towards the right) to get inside and find a little skate park. 4: Once you do #3 go straight ahead and Ollie off that quarter-pipe (towards the right again) to jump up onto a half-pipe on top of the house. After you do that, you can jump forward to yet another half-pipe. 5: Once you do #3 go to the middle of the area, face the house, and Ollie up through the window and into a hallway. Go down the hallway and smash through the next window to get the secret tape. 6: If you have moon physics, you can jump into the haunted house without helping the thin man. Just use the tree you start in to jump through the window behind the secret tape. 7: (yea I know, there's a lot to do here) If you grind the barbecue in the backyard of the green house, it lights. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Airport: 1: From where you start, jump over the counter on your right and jump through the X-ray machine to get to a helicopter landing pad. 2: After you complete #1, use the little angled ramp (the one that says "Caution") to grind the choppers blade, and it will take off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Skater Island: 1: Go past the first funbox on your right, and go through the doorway to the right. Jump up on the side of the half-pipe nearest the wall. To your right there are two flags. Grind the American flag for points, grind the pirate flag to open the warehouse door to the left of where you start. Outside is a beach and a pirate ship. 2: This is a bit of a tough one, you have to cheat and use moon physics to get it. Directly ahead of where you start there are two water pipes near the ceiling. Use the funbox to your right to get up on either of them, and then jump the gap near the far wall. Once you do the sprinklers in the entire building will turn on. If you've got a good graphics card, you can even see the water sheen on the concrete. 3: If you use the huge half-pipe to the far right of where you start, you can break out the celing tiles at 100 points apeice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Los Angeles: 1: If you grind the four tremor rails (to the left of the brown building, inside the brown building, in front of the brown building, and to the right of the brown building) you will start an earthquake. It knocks down the freeway by the car wash, and lets you jump onto it from the top of the brown building. 2: Ahead and to the right of where you start, there is a thin rail, grind it to get on top of the brown building. 3: After you do #1 and #2, you can jump onto the broken freeway and the use the boards to jump onto the building beyond. If you grind the edge of that building and jump to the theater, you can use the sign to jump over to the rail coming from the purple thing (secret tape goal). 4: To the right of where you start there is an office building with a fountain in front of it. Skate through that building, and Ollie over the quarter-pipe beyond it to get to a brick area with grates in the ground. Grind the brick ledge all the way around (They're Grate! gap) and the grates will open to reveal an underground half-pipe. 5: After you do #4, go back and do #2. The grates on top of the building will now be open. Inside is another half-pipe. Be careful though, there's a hole in the center of it. 6: On either side of the fountain in front of the office building are two quarter-pipes. Ollie off either of them at an angle to jump onto a half-pipe on top of the office building. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tokyo: There are so many little hidden areas in the neon signs here that I won't bother to list all of them. I'll just put down the bigger, better ones. 1: There is a huge secret park hidden behind the big red circular sign that's ahead and to the right of where you start. There are two ways to get to it: -a: (moon physics needed) Grind the rail next to the lower part, then jump into the 3/4 pool area. Use the moon physics cheat to jump up to the top and grind the white glowing rail around the top. Jump off into the little area above the white rail. Notice the little brown sections with ropes holding up the round sign. Turn off moon physics, jump over, and quickly grind the rope to break it. Then jump down and go into the park. (BTW, it's possible [although very hard] to grind the white rail with no cheat code) -b: (no cheats, but you need to be special to reach the rail above the stand) From where you start, go down the Rollin and turn around. Use the quarter-pipe on the left to jump up towards the right and grind the rail above it, then jump to the upper rail, then jump to the rope that goes right from the rail. Follow the rope to a yellow sign with a cow on it, jump up to the rounded sign (with the red gamepad on it). Grind along, then jump up onto the red sign, and grind through the rope. 2: Go to the end of the level and get in the bowl on the right. Jump up and grind the rail above to the left. (you need to be special of use cheats to do this). At the end of the rail is a light green sign. Jump over it to get to a big half-pipe. (BTW, there's a bug in area #2. If you Ollie off angled a bit towards the wall, and you jump high enough, your skater will float into the wall, and bounce back out again. If you do a spin trick while doing this, you can get 2000 degree+ spins easily.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cruise Ship: 1: Ahead of where you start and to the right of the red smokestack is a white pipe with a valve in it. Grind it to empty the pool (actually goal for all you fellow Verts out there! :P ) 2: If you break all the glass in the Atrium (greenhouse), a new captain will take over the announcements. 3: Jump over the sunbathers near the pool to get some funny gaps. 4: On the middle deck at the back of the ship is a cake. Smash through it and a new different one will pop up. If you fall in the hole that the cakes come from, you'll die.
