Throughout the realm of Ascentia, there are many glorious and loyal organizations and freelancers. Unfortunately, there are even more people of the wicked and, very rarely, netural people who seek to violently end the innocent hopes and charming dreams of the Sunshine Acropolis. Though a few noble and extremely brave guilds are willing to stand up to this tide of darkness, they all have other interests that they must attend to.
Led by Marshall Aiden Vitalis (AidenVitalis@aol.com), the Heavy Guard of Ascentia spends all of its undivided attention on the preservation and enhancement of Ascentia. It is favored by many because of these clearly defined aims. And also, since Marshall Vitalis is the Baron of Ascentia and Keeper of the Light, the Heavy Guard of Ascentia has the benefits being of a state-sponsored body! Revered by even the most notorious enemies of the heavens, the Heavy Guard of Ascentia stands confidently ready to defend the borders or even expand them.
Since the Heavy Guard of Ascentia wishes to make the whole of Ascentia more formidable, it offers an alliance to every other Ascentian guild to make sure that everybody is kept in the information loop. Many of the Heavy Guard of Ascentia's members are in other Ascentian guilds, too, because the citizens understand the dire need for defense and know that there are no difficulties in being in this guild along with any other because the Heavy Guard of Ascentia requires absolutely nothing from its allies even though it offers them every support it possible can; anything else would go against the fundamental goals of the Heavy Guard of Ascentia. In fact, the leaders of the allied guilds are even offered a seat on the Heavy Guard of Ascentia's High Council, providing that they have at just ten members.
